SOLID STEEL U-HOOKS – Unlike other products widely available, the Secureguard Extra Heavy-Duty Tow Rope includes Steel U-Hooks to use with towing hardware on your vehicle. Don’t let an inferior hook mechanism get in the way when you need the tow, the superior U-Hook design gives you the flexibility to tow out of most situations.
REINFORCED EYE HOOPS – When Towing, the Eye Hoop is critical to execute the towing safely. At Secureguard we’ve reinforced the Eye Hoop just for this reason to make sure tow capacity isn’t on your mind when you need it most.
COMPACT DESIGN – Convenient carrying bag makes it easy to store your tow rope and steel u-hooks when not in use.
Here are simple instructions for use when towing:
- Take the Secureguard tow rope out of the carrying bag.
- Twist the steel pin from the U-Hook and remove the pine from the U-Hook.
- Put the U-Hook through the towing hardware on your vehicle.
- Insert the steel pin back into the U-Hook and twist until tightened.
- Repeat the process for the other vehicle involved in the towing.
- At this point you should have both vehicles attached to the tow rope with a loose strap. Using extreme caution, slowly move the tow vehicle until the tow rope is no longer loose or has slack in the length of the rope.
- Begin towing.
